Clover’s Summer Sides completes USAF Basic Training
Air Force Airman Summer A. Sides graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas in January.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
She is the sister of Robert Sides of Bayberry Lane in Youngsville, N.C., and Cody Sides of Quarter Horse Drive in Clover.
Sides is a 2009 graduate of Clover High School.
