Peoples First named York Chamber March Business of the Month

The Greater York Chamber of Commerce selected Peoples First Insurance as its March 2010 Business of the Month, in late February.

Peoples First has a 104 year history as an independent insurance agency providing home, auto, life, health, group benefits and business insurance to a broad range of clients in York County and surrounding areas.

A licensed and well-trained staff of 30 sales and service professionals provide clients a “Beyond Insurance ™” experience. Proactive service, risk management, and a professional claims department are key resources Peoples First offers to earn the confidence and trust that build loyalty in its clients, community, and insurance company partners.

The company’s Risk Watch ™ process is unique. It is the only agency in South and North Carolina that has the capability of offering this program. The purpose of the Risk Watch ™ system is to improve the risk profile of Peoples First’s clients. That means favorable premium reductions from the more than 40 insurance companies Peoples First represents.

The company is proud to have a long history of supporting many community organizations. The Greater York Chamber of Commerce has allowed its employees to serve as active participants, not only as Summerfest sponsors and workers, but also as past board members and as a continuing financial contributor. This chamber helps Peoples First get its message out to the business community, acts as a liaison for the company at the local and state government levels, and serves as a resource for business news in Western York County.
