The York Middle School seventh-grade football team defeated the Sullivan Falcons 36-18 to finish the regular season unbeaten and capture the Western Division championship of the York County Middle School Athletic Conference.
Dondre Douglas ran 65 yards for a touchdown on the first play. He added a 30-yard run to make the score 16-0.
Other scoring for the Cougars included a 40-yard TD pass from Cameron Jones to Ashley Jeter and a Douglas 20-yard TD run. Tahj Reid-Stanley scored on a 20-yard TD run.
The Cougars were scheduled to play Springfield Middle School Wednesday in the conference championship game.
