Clover band finishes seventh in state event

— The Clover High School Marching Band competed and finished seventh in the SCBDA’s (South Carolina Band Director’s Association) 4-A State Band Competition on Saturday at Spring Valley High School in Columbia.

This competition marks the 15th consecutive year that Clover High has earned the distinction of competing at the state level.

Last week, the band superstars were treated to a “Pre-State Party” where they celebrated the accomplishment. Clover High’s culinary classes catered the event that with salads and baked bow tie lasagna.
