Author plans book signing at York shop

YORK --

Fort Mill author Sam Shope will sign copies of his new Christian book, “A Donkey’s Tale,” from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 at Footprints Christian Bookstore, 9 N. Congress St., downtown York.

In Shope’s story from the Gospel of Matthew, Roman is the donkey who has been blessed with perhaps the greatest privilege for a donkey ever - carrying the Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem for His triumphant entry.

Readers can experience this tale with his filly-niece and colt-nephew, Sarah and Michael, as he recounts to them his journey.
