Guns, TVs stolen while York family on Christmas vacation

YORK -- 

More than 50 items, including jewelry, three TVs and seven guns, were stolen from a York family's home while they were out of town for Christmas, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report.

The burglar made off with at least $10,000 worth of items, according to estimates on the police report.

A friend dropped by the family's home two days before Christmas to feed their pets. He noticed a door was locked inside the home's garage that normally isn't, he told police.
