Play for a Cure basketball is Jan. 11 in York

YORK --

‘Play for a Cure’ basketball game Jan. 11 at YCHS

The annual York-Clover “Play for a Cure” basketball game will be held Jan.11 in the York Comprehensive High School main gym.

Teams will wear T-shirts with the cure message to warm up and fans can purchase the shirts at the door for $10.

This year, we are going to donate profits raised from the shirts and door donations to the York and Clover high schools to help a student with cancer or the family or families of a student at the schools,” commented YCHS head coach Paula Blackwell. “We want the money to go directly back into the two communities to help offset the cost of this dreadful disease.”
