The report states the altercation happened at a West. Jefferson Street apartment on Jan. 6.

A woman, 50, was arguing with her daughter and became enraged. When the daughter’s friend, a 19-year-old female, attempted to intervene, the mother shoved a lit cigarette into her face just below her left eye, the report states.

The victim called police and the suspect fled the apartment.

When police arrived, they noted the victim was seriously burned and required medical treatment. Police are still looking for the suspect.
