Cougar band plans weekend fish fry

The York Comprehensive High School band will host its annual fish fry from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3.

The event will be in the York Middle School cafeteria -- the old YCHS cafeteria -- at 1010 Devinney Road, York.

Tickets are $8 for adults, and $4 for children ages 5 to 10. Tickets are available in advance from any band student or band parents. Tickets also will be available at the door.

Dine-in plates are all-you-can-eat and will include fish, slaw, hush puppies, tartar sauce and fries. Take-out plates also will be available.

Money raised will pay for band trips.
