Police: Arrested Clover teen flooded jail by vandalizing sprinkler

YORK -- 

One of the three Clover High School students arrested for planning to sell prescription pills at school is now accused of vandalizing jail property at the Moss Justice Detention Center in York, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.

Alex Jermaine Littlejohn, 17, has been in jail since Feb. 22, with his bond set at $10,000, according to the detention center’s website.

Around 2 a.m. on Thursday, police say Littlejohn flooded the jail housing unit by busting a sprinkler head, the report states.

Charges for damaging the property are pending, according to the report.

Police arrested three students on Feb. 22 after a 16-year-old student’s mother found text messages about buying Ritalin at school.

School administrators found the boy with 12 Ritalin pills. He told officials that another student, 17, offered to share the profits with him if he helped sell the pills, according to a sheriff’s office report.

The boy also named Littlejohn as someone selling pills at school, the report states.

School officials told police they found Littlejohn with 13 Percocet and nine hydrocodone pills in a container stuffed in his book bag, according to the police report.
