— A York woman caught a burglar inside her home last week, according to a York Police report.

The woman, 37, returned to her Hall Street house around 3 p.m. on June 21 to find an unidentified white male inside her home, according to the report.

She called police and the man fled the scene into a nearby wooded area. Police arrived moments later, but were unable to find the suspect.

After an investigation, police determined the man entered the home through an unlocked door. It’s not clear if he took anything.

The victim described the suspect as a slim white male wearing, wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt and over 6 feet tall.
