CSDA to host pianist, vocalist Oct. 29

— The Clover School District Performing Arts Center will host an Oct. 29 performance featuring pianist Emile Pandolfi with guest vocalist and South Carolina native Dana Russell.

Pandolfi’s performances feature time-honored popular standards and Broadway hits, seasoned with well-known classical favorites and fresh pieces. His trademark quips of humor also find their way into the musical mix.

Pandolfi, a classical piano performance degree graduate who made his symphony debut at age 14, has a discography of more than 30 recordings.

Russell is a native of Greenville and has appeared on Broadway with major roles in “Show Boat,” “The Fantasticks,” “Sweeney Todd,” “West Side Story” and “Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris.” She toured as a singer/dancer with Broadway revues.

Her television and radio credits include serving as co-host and co-anchor on national broadcasts “Cheyenne Country” with Steve Gatlin, Bill Gaither’s “Jubilate” and appearances on “The 700 Club.”
