LAKE WYLIE — Deputies have arrested the man they believe is responsible for exposing himself to a woman outside of a Lake Wylie Walmart earlier this year.
Winston Burton, 52, of York, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of indecent exposure, according to a York County Sheriff's Office news release. He is held at the York County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond.
In June, a woman reported to deputies that a man approached her in Walmart's parking lot and told her something might be leaking from her car, authorities said. He told her he could help her with the issue and asked her to move her car to the back part of the parking lot.
As he began to look at her brakes, the woman realized the suspect was inappropriately touching himself, deputies said.
Deputies this week released surveillance videos of the suspect after he allegedly approached another woman at the Food Lion parking lot and told her something was wrong with her brakes. He asked her to move her car, but the woman became suspicious and left, deputies said.
