York police: Woman, 18, reports rape at motor lodge

November 5, 2013

— York Police are investigating an alleged rape that occurred in a York motel room, according to a York Police report.

An 18-year-old woman on Nov. 1 told authorities she had just been raped by two men at the York Motor Lodge. She told police she was there with two men and they refused to let her leave and forced her to have sex.

Afterward, she fled and reported it to authorities from a residence off Hands Mill Highway, police said.

Police obtained a search warrant and collected evidence at the motel. No arrests have been made, but police list two suspects, a 46-year-old male and a 34-year-old male, both of Lake Wylie. The case is under investigation.
