York police: Boy, 5, whipped with belt by mom’s boyfriend

— A 5-year-old York boy was allegedly whipped with a belt on his back legs and arms by his mother’s boyfriend, according to a York Police report.

The report states a witness of the alleged child abuse reported the incident Oct. 29. She told police the man had abused the child with a belt.

Police interviewed the child, who told officers that he was told to take off his shirt, put his hands against the wall and not move while he was beaten, according to the report.

The boy told police it was punishment for misbehaving at school. Police are investigating.
