York traffic stop leads to drug bust

— During a routine traffic stop, police recovered several types of drugs from the car of a 30-year-old Charlotte man, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.

Mo-Taz M. Monir Ei-Malawny was arrested last week after he failed to use a turn signal near Old Nations Road in York.

When police searched his car, they found 17 grams of marijuana, digital scales and packaging materials. Police also recovered several doses of Viagra, Oxycodone, Diazepam, Alprazolam, and 2.1 grams of hash.

Ei-Malawny was arrested on narcotic charges. Nearly $1,400 in cash was also seized by police.
