York farmer reports $29,000 tractor theft

— A farmer on Canter Lane in York reported to police this week that a tractor and front-end loader worth $29,000 were stolen from his home.

The 1994 tractor is worth $24,000, and the loader attached to it is worth another $5,000, the man told police. The man had serial numbers for the equipment and were both Kubota brand. Detectives are investigating but no arrests have been made.
