Sharon to host Friday holiday event

— The town of Sharon’s11th annual Christmas in Old Sharon will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, with events at various locations in the town of Sharon.

A Christmas gift pavilion will be at the Sharon Community Center, 3722 Woodlawn St., with local artisans selling gifts, face painting and Mrs. Claus telling stories.

The Sharon Volunteer Fire Department will host a pancake supper with coffee, hot chocolate and a bake sale. Santa will arrive by fire truck at 7 p.m. to take photos with children.

The Museum of Western York County will be open with a bake sale, and Woodlawn Presbyterian Church and two homes will be open for tours. The homes are Kim Stephenson, 3231 York St., and Cathy Lawton, 3913 Woodlawn St.

The Sharon Grill, Brownie’s Sales, Winn Express and the Sharon Nursery & Garden Center will be open with food, music and special events, and Sharon Town Hall will host a food drive with donations going to PATH.
