SMYRNA — Eleven people were charged with underage drinking after police broke up a party early Sunday morning in western York County.
The York County Sheriff's Office received a tip about the party on McGill Road in Smyrna.
Officers arrived at about 1:30 a.m., and found more than 25 people, including two designated drivers, according to a sheriff's office report.
Those who were over 21 were identified and let go. Nine men and two women between age 18 and 20 were cited with minor of possession of alcohol. One person was charged as a "social host," the report states.
All minors were "turned over to a responsible party" before officers left.
