Healthy marriage class scheduled
LAKE WYLIE Pastor Gayle and Joe Montgomery of River Hills Community Church are holding “Dynamic Marriage,” a transformative course that promotes real and lasting change in already healthy marriages, at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9.
Space is limited to 12 couples. Orientation classes are scheduled 6-7 p.m. Jan. 24 or 7-8 p.m. Jan. 29. Child care may be provided. Cost is $150 for books and materials per couple, plus childcare costs. Call 803-831-1615 to register.
Bowling Green church plans soup, stew supper
CLOVER Bowling Green Presbyterian Church will hold its annual vegetable soup and oyster stew supper 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.
Homemade desserts also will be served. In the event of inclement weather, the supper will be rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1.
Bowling Green Presbyterian Church is located at 250 Ridge Road, Clover.
River Hills church to hold second service
LAKE WYLIE River Hills Community Church will begin offering a second service Sunday, Jan. 19.
In addition to the current 10:30 a.m. Sunday service, an early communion worship service will be held at 8 a.m.

New Beginnings seeks volunteers
CLOVER Volunteers are needed for God’s Kitchen, a ministry of New Beginnings Baptist Church that delivers meals to at least 120 shut-ins each day.
Volunteers are also being sought for the Lighthouse Thrift Store, which helps provide housing for the homeless. Volunteers will help with daily operations including delivery, pickup and sorting donations.

LAKE WYLIE The Community Cafe offers free weekly lunches 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly.
The Cafe at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church in Fort Mill serves lunch 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
