Zac Fuesser Pitching Camp slated for Feb. 15

January 22, 2014

— The second annual Zac Fuesser Pitching Camp will be Feb. 15 at the York Comprehensive High School baseball complex.

The camp will be from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. before the Cougar baseball team’s varsity scrimmage.

In the event of inclement weather, the camp will be in the YCHS gym.

All proceeds will be divided between the Western York County Relay for Life and the Be the Match Foundation. The camp for ages 8 to 14costs $20 per participant.

Fuesser is a 2008 YCHS grad and former Gatorade Player of the Year in South Carolina. Also appearing at the camp will be former New York Yankee hurler Jeff Johnson and Clemson All-American Richie Shaffer.

YCHS head baseball coach Scot Kiggans and staff will provide the instruction. Registration is available at Go to varsity baseball and follow the link to camps to register.

All campers registered by Feb. 4 will be guaranteed a camp T-shirt. There will be a limited number of T-shirts for those who register the day of the camp.

Campers should bring gloves and shoes. Also, remember to dress to accommodate the weather should the camp activities be held inside. This includes proper shoes.

For those unable to register online, mail your name, phone number, parents’ name, school participant attends, T-shirt size (youth or adult) and send check to: YCHS Athletic Department, Zac Fuesser Pitching Camp, 275 E. Alexander Love Highway, York, S.C. 29745.
