CLOVER: Boil water advisory lifted

January 23, 2014

— A boil water advisory stemming from a main water line rupture in Clover on Wednesday morning has been lifted, according to town officials.

The rupture, which took three hours for workers to isolate, sent water into the road, forming a sheet of ice and left residents without potable water for a brief period.

According to officials, water samples taken after the Wednesday afternoon repair were sent to a lab and independently tested for safe drinking.

Town officials thanked residents for their patience during the water line break in an email.
