Zumbathon planned to help Sam Thompson, collect food

— The Clover Active Living Committee and the Clover YMCA will host a Zumbathon from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Blue Eagle Academy gym, 300 Clinton Ave., Clover.

The price to attend is a can food donation which will go to the Clover Area Assistance Center. Donations for Pastor Sam Thompson of God’s Kitchen whose home burned on January 22 will also be collected.

A Zumbatonic class for 5- to 12-year-olds will also be available.

Several Zumba instructors from the YMCA will be leading the fun.

Child care for children under 5 will be provided at the Clover Y, 107 S. Main Street.
