$2 million lottery ticket sold in Lake Wylie

— A Powerball ticket sold in Lake Wylie is worth $2 million, according to S.C. Education Lottery officials.

The ticket, which was sold at Quik Trip on N.C. 49, came within one number of winning Wednesday night’s $215 million jackpot.

The ticket matched all five white ball numbers drawn. The ticket holder purchased PowerPlay for an extra $1, to have the $1 million prize increase to $2 million.

Wednesday's Powerball numbers were 8, 17, 32, 57, and 59, with a Powerball of 24 and PowerPlay 3.

The estimated Powerball jackpot for Saturday is $247 million.
