CLOVER — Clover residents worked out Saturday to collect food for the needy and donations for Sam Thompson of God’s Kitchen.
The Clover YMCA and the town of Clover’s Active Living Committee hosted a two-hour Zumbathon at the Blue Eagle Academy gym.
Participants brought canned food donation for the Clover Area Assistance Center. They also brought donations for Pastor Sam Thompson of God’s Kitchen, whose home burned on Jan, 22.
The event was led by Zumba instructors from the Clover YMCA. It also included a Zumbatonic class for 5- to 12-year-olds.
