St. Paul UMC plans oyster stew

St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1550 St. Paul Church Road, Clover, will have an oyster stew from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22.

The event was rescheduled from Feb. 15 due to weather.

The menu will include oyster stew, vegetable soup and hot dogs, desserts and drinks. Donations will be accepted. Details, call 803-222-7858

Ramah plans poor man’s supper

Ramah Presbyterian Church, Ramah Church Road, York, will host a Poor Man’s supper from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1.

The event was rescheduled from last week due to weather.

The menu will include pintos, cornbread, soups, cabbage, slaw and desserts. Cost is $7 adults; $3 ages 3 to 12; free for ages 3 and younger.

Fishing Creek plans Feb. 23 concert

Fishing Creek Baptist Church, Springlake Road, York, will have a Black History Concert at 5 p.m. Feb. 23 with Kenny Curry and the Holy Voices.

Weeping Mary plans family, friends day

Weeping Mary Baptist Church, U.S. 321 North, Bowling Green, will have Family and Friends Day at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 23.

Cornerstone plans revival

Cornerstone Family Worship Center, Black Highway, York, will have a revival at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 23 with evangelist John Killian.

Church will meet at Lake Pointe Academy

The Bridge Community Church, which meets at 10:30 a.m. Sundays at Clover High School, will be moving to Lake Pointe Academy Christian School, 3168 Hands Mill Hwy.

Pastor is Kevin Witt. Services in the new location will begin at 10 a.m. March 16 with coffee and doughnuts, and worship beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The Bridge Community Church has a Bible-based, informal and contemporary style of worship with Southern Baptist roots.

New Beginnings seeks volunteers

Volunteers are needed for God’s Kitchen, a ministry of New Beginnings Baptist Church that delivers meals to at least 120 shut-ins each day.

Volunteers also are being sought for the Lighthouse Thrift Store, which helps provide housing for the homeless. Volunteers will help with daily operations including delivery, pickup and sorting donations.

Community Cafe serving lunch

The Community Cafe offers free weekly lunches 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly.

The Cafe at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church in Fort Mill serves lunch 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
