Richardson Rescue seeks help with snow damage

March 6, 2014

— Richardson Rescue, a York nonprofit pet adoption group, is reaching out for help with fenced pet living areas that were damaged in the Feb. 13 snowstorm.

The group needs to buy new tarps and to repair or replace lost or bent fence panels and metal frames that support the tarps, which were damaged in the storm.

Checks can be mailed to Richardson Rescue, 1968 Garvin Road, York, SC 29745. Donations also can be made from the website, richardsonrescue.org.

The pets have not been injured, according to the organization, and they have heaters in dog houses. The donations are being sought to repair or replace the fenced pet areas.
