CLOVER — A teenager was shot to death and another person taken to a hospital after deputies found them both suffering from gunshot wounds at a home in Clover, authorities say.
At about 11 p.m. Sunday, York County Sheriff's deputies were sent to 431 Gondola Lane, in the Glen at Clover mobile home community off Woodend Lane, where they found two people had been shot, according to sheriff's office spokesman Trent Faris.
Brandon Davis, 17, of Rhyne Road in Clover, died from a gunshot wound, said York County Coroner Sabrina Gast.
The other victim, 22, was shot in the leg and has been taken to an area hospital, according to friends.
The people who live at the Gondola home said Davis was shot elsewhere and then taken to their yard. Friends say the second victim drove Davis to the mobile home.
Deputies are currently working to identify a suspect and determine a motive.
This is the third shooting York deputies have investigated this past weekend.
