Driver airlifted after crash with school bus in York

— A car and school bus were involved in an accident near the intersection McFarland Road and Langrum Branch Road in York around 3 p.m., according to school officials and S.C. Highway Patrol.

The bus driver and students were not injured, a district official said.

The driver, a woman, of the car was airlifted to a hospital, said York County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Trent Faris.

The students were taken to a school location to be examined.

It was not known which school's students were on that bus.
