Easter egg hunts planned in York, Clover

— The cities of York and Clover are planning Easter egg hunts for children this week.

• The York Parks and Recreation Department, with Bi-Lo, will host an Easter egg hunt 6:30 p.m. April 17 at the York Recreation Complex, 74 Fourth St. The event is free for children ages 12 and younger. Children should bring their own Easter basket. Bi-Lo will be serving hot dogs, with proceeds benefitting York Place. Details: 803-684-3742.

• The Clover Parks and Recreation Department will host an egg hunt 6 p.m. April 17 at New Centre Park for children ages toddler through fifth grade. Children will be divided by age group. Activities also will include children’s inflatables, spoon and sack races and music. For information, contact Amy Gonzalez, special events coordinator, 803-222-9493.
