— The York Parks and Recreation Department’s spring athletic season is in full swing.

Parks and Rec Director Carolyn Leake said spring is the busiest of all seasons.

“We encourage parents, grandparents, family and friends to support our youth activities during the spring season,” she said.

Leake anticipates big crowds for spring competitions. “We have found that the younger the participants, the bigger the crowds,” she said.
