Clover Parks and Rec faces busy spring season

— The Clover Parks and Recreation Department, headed by Recreation Director Greg Holmes, is going into its busiest of all seasons.

“We’re as busy as ever,” said Donald Johnson, program coordinator.

Johnson said that adults aren’t left out. “Friday-night adult kickball has become a popular activity,” said Johnson. “We had good response last year and more of the same this year.”

“We encourage the community to come out and support so many youth events the spring season has to offer,” said Johnson.

The Clover rec staff encourages coaches, players and fans to help keep the parks clean by picking up trash after the games.
