York police: 3 teens arrested for marijuana at Relay for Life

April 29, 2014

— Three teenagers were arrested at the Western York County Relay for Life fundraiser on suspicion of smoking marijuana in the woods nearby, according to a York Police report.

Police were called to York Middle School’s nature trail near the American Cancer Society event last Saturday.

They found four male teens who smelled of marijuana.

After searching the teens, three were found with an assortment of cigarettes, chewing tobacco and marijuana paraphernalia, including a glass pipe.

Those three teens were arrested. A fourth teen was not in possession of any contraband. He was released. Their identities are not disclosed because they are all under the age of 17.
