Homecoming

Bethany ARP Church, 1454 N. Hwy. 161, Clover, will hold Homecoming on July 13. Morning worship will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a covered dish luncheon at 12:30 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Bike ride

The First Baptist Church York Bike Ride will be at 6:30 p.m. July 13. Meet in the church parking lot to take a bike tour of historic York. All ages are invited to attend. A time of snacks and devotion will follow the ride.

VBS

u Clover EPC presents "Parables of Christ" VBS from 6 to 8 p.m. July 20 to 23. Children between the ages of four through rising eighth graders are welcome to attend.

u First Baptist Church in York will hold its VBS, Son Harvest County Fair, on Sundays and Wednesdays July 20, July 23, July 27, July 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.. Also, on Aug. 3, they'll hold a Country Fair Day from 5 to 7 p.m.

Summer camp

Allison Creek Presbyterian Church is enrolling children aged 2 to 10 in its annual summer camp.

Upcoming sessions are

• Preschool camp for children aged 2 to 5, 9 a.m.-noon July 14-16 and July 21-23. Children will explore the desert as Moses would have long ago. Cost: $70 per child paid in full by June 30.

• Elementary camp for children aged 6-10, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. July 23-41. Children will explore the desert as Moses would have long ago. Campers will work with members of their tribe to "survive" life in the desert. Cost: $70 per child paid in full by July 14. Campers bring their own lunch.

Divorce Care

Pine Grove Baptist Church, of Lake Wylie, is holding a divorce care class meets on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. Childcare will be provided. To register call the church office at 831-2015 or e-mail: pgbapt@bellsouth.net. The church is also offering a Henry Blackaby study of "Experiencing God", on Sundays at 4:45 p.m. Everyone invited.
