John Caldwell Jr.
CLOVER -- Mr. John William "Billy" Caldwell Jr., 56, of 771 Glenn Road, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, March 20, 2008, at Bowling Green Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James Gable officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Caldwell was born Aug. 22, 1951, in York, S.C., to the late John William and Martha Parrish Caldwell. He was a graduate of Clover High School, a retired member of the North Carolina Air National Guard in Charlotte, N.C., and past Master of the Alpine No. 208 Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of Bowling Green Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Angie and David Gaskins of Clover; son and daughter-in-law, Jon and April Caldwell of Clover; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Barbara Caldwell of Clover; sister and brother-in-law, Sis and Corsey Bentley; two granddaughters, Amanda Caldwell and Chelsey Bolin; and several nieces and nephews.

Anna Forrest
BOONVILLE, N.C. -- Anna Lou "Granny Lou" Reavis Forrest, 83, formerly of Lexington, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1924 to the late John Sanford & Maggie Lou Steelman Reavis. She was retired from Mid State Tile and was a member of Pauls Chapel Church of Christ in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William H. Forrest, Feb. 2, 2002; three brothers, Allan Reavis, Kenneth Reavis and Lester Reavis; a son-in-law, Dan Shore; and a grandson, Michael Sheek.
Surviving are her children, Larry (Brenda) Sheek of Yadkinville, Randal Sheek of Boonville, Tony (Carolyn) Sheek of Rock Hill, S.C., Peggy Shore of Boonville and Richard (Lynn) Sheek of Mocksville, N.C.; a sister, Ruth Renegar of Burlington; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral was conducted March 19, 2008, at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Bill Hale. Burial followed at Pauls Chapel Church of Christ cemetery in Lexington. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Hoots Memorial Hospital, 6th floor ICU and the Palliative Care at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Forrest. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville served the Forrest family.

CLOVER -- Mrs. Sandra Kaye Booth Ballenger, 56, of 6173 Little Mountain Road died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at her home.
